Swimming at McLaren Falls
Not only is McLaren Falls Park a wonderful out of town adventure, but a place of wonder and excitement with these fantastic walking tracks.
Swimming at The Strand is now better than ever. After having installed a bombing platform and tidal stairs to get your feet wet, it’s a wonderful place for a swim along the waterfront.
A half hour drive from Tauranga plus a 40 minute walk through the bush leads you to this swimming hole. It sits in the Kaimai’s accessed by a track out Aongatete.
