If you’re looking for things to do, Papamoa Library offers wonderful opportunities. Here you are able to start a journey into a favourite hobby, study a new language, or simply find a great read.

At all libraries in Tauranga, you are required to use a library card in order to issue and take books home. Once you have a library card, you are not limited to your local library. But are able to use it at Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Greerton libraries.

If at your local library you find a book that is currently at one of the other branches, you can simply hold it and it will be sent to your chosen branch for pickup. You are welcome to issue from one branch and return to another.

Community libraries offer a huge range of services including browsing and study facilities; Magazines, music and videos; local history collections with reference materials and newspapers for use in the libraries; to word processing facilities and even access to the Internet and other electronic resources.
